When we made the decision to put our Lily down, the entire staff was extremely kind and gentle and professional. Dr. Crawford was empathetic and treated us with kindness and dignity. He took very good care of us and our Lily. They were authentically compassionate, kind, and caring to us and to our dog. It was hard to say goodbye to our dog and they allowed us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. Thank you Dr. Crawford for your compassion and warmth while we made this difficult decision.

I have had my babies taken care of at Sherwood Animal Hospital for years. I think with our first dachshund Dr. Stevenson was there. The last on one we started with Dr Emellie and love her. Our sweet Petunia of course sees Dr. Emellie. She too is a dachshund lover, so kind, so easy to talk to and always loves on the babies. The staff is so courteous and everyone is very knowledgeable. I am sure all the other veterinarians are wonderful too. Thank you all for always being so great!

Awesome! Once again they saved my 17 yr old rat terrier. Did emergency visit with Dr. Smith who was great! She diagnosed vestibular issues and prescribed all the right meds. Compassionate, kind and patient. The way a doctor should be. Human doctors and their staff should take a lesson from Sherwood South's team. (Dr. Lee is our regular doctor who is just fabulous as well!) Let's not forget the techs and the front desk ladies. From start to finish, A++++++

Sherwood South Animal Hospital was quick to help me when our doggie was very sick. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Veternarian was patient, answered all my questions, took the time to answer and explain. Took great care of our little doggie. Would recommend using them to anyone.

Everyone was amazing! They took wonderful care of my furbaby, Petey. They make you feel comfortable leaving your pet in hospital because you know they are getting great medical care along with lots love & pets too! They were also patient with answering my many questions during a stressful time.

I can’t say enough good things about Sherwood South! They are always very friendly and accommodating, and always provide exceptional service. Dr. Crawford was polite and calm and thorough, as well as the technician. Sky was incredibly compassionate and caring. Highly recommend this clinic for veterinarian needs and also a piece of mind.

We had a great experience with the hospital. Our dog was in a bad condition but when we got to the emergency the doctor was great and made us feel calm. We gave her all the medication he prescribed and now she’s great again. Not to mention that we were very well received at the front desk. We just arrived from another country and already have a good hospital for our dogs.

A few years ago my dog, Ripp, back leg was amputated. We loved the staff and the vet did an amazing job on him. He healed beautifully. Ripp loved the staff. I could hear them in the back all petting him and saying their goodbyes. Ripp loved it there and was not nervous at all when I picked him up. He can still hike his other back leg. 😂 It's hilarious.

I knew my old man was at end of life and his organs were shutting down. I called Saturday to inform them that we were spending one final day together. He was taken in on a Sunday for euthanasia. The staff were so nice and empathetic about the situation. They helped with every step and decision. They hadn't seen him before, but they still loved on him and gave him the best goodbye. They were also sympathetic and kind when I came to pick up his ashes. What I didn't expect, and made me cry in the middle of a work day, was the card I received in the mail today. It was his paw print and hand written notes from the staff. Nic was my constant companion for 12 of his 13 years. Thank you for making his passing as smooth and painless as possible. When I'm ready for my next pet, I'll definitely be bringing them to Sherwood South Animal Hospital for all their care.

My fiancé and I brought our sweet pit-bull Lizzy to the emergency animal hospital for a bad open wound on her neck. The receptionist was nice and welcoming. The nurse that greeted Lizzy was very polite and reassuring. They provided Lizzy with great care and stitched her neck up so it could heal properly. They provided her with antibiotics as well as pain medication for doggies! The facility was very clean 🧼 It offered a nice little seating area with a coffee station, vending machine, and entertainment area for the patients’ owners to enjoy while waiting for their animal companion! Lizzy is healing ❤️‍🩹 just perfectly, and we are happy to have her getting back to normal. I highly recommend this animal hospital.
